SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - Matt Murray made 37 saves Wednesday as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds defeated the Sudbury Wolves 3-1 in the Ontario Hockey League.
Darnell Nurse had a goal and two assists, Michael Schumacher added a goal and an assist and Nick Cousins had the other goal into an empty net for the Greyhounds (7-4-0).
Dominik Kahun had the only goal for Sudbury (5-6-0), which got 35 saves from Joel Vienneau.
Nurse broke a 1-1 tie with 3:07 remaining in regulation before Cousins iced things with his empty-net goal at 18:47.
Sault St. Marie finished the night 1-for-8 on the power play, while Sudbury was 1-for-2.
