In that case, you need to investigate the Emotiva.com products. I
have one of their UMC-1 preprocessors and it is a fantatsic piece,
especially considering its price ($699). I have this hooked up to a
Butler TDB-5150 5 channel tube/MOSFET amp driving Gallo Reference
speakers. The sound quality is astounding. Most items exept the
UMC-1 were purchased used off Audiogon.com. And everything has worked
perfectly for years now, Audiogon is a great place to find deals on
great (used) equippment...
