Jonathan Huberdeau had three goals and an assist and the Saint John Sea Dogs moved into a share of first overall in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League standings with a 7-2 rout of the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Wednesday.
Zack Phillips scored his 20th goal and added four assists for the Sea Dogs (22-3-2), who are tied atop the QMJHL standings with the Montreal Juniors with 46 points.
With the big game Huberdeau moved into a tie for fourth in the QMJHL scoring race. He has 19 goals and 23 assists for 42 points in 27 games.
Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Gatineau 4 P.E.I. 1; Shawinigan 2 Halifax 1; and Val-d'Or 4 Montreal 3 (OT).
At Bathurst, N.B., Simon Despres, Steven Anthony and Mike Thomas also scored for the Sea Dogs, while Nathan Beaulieu had three assists.
Daniel Tanel and Jonathan Lessard replied for the Titan (18-11-0).
Jacob DeSerres made 32 saves for Saint John.
Olivier Roy surrendered five goals on 25 shots for Acadie-Bathurst before being relieved by Robert Steeves, who stopped 10 of 12 shots in relief.

At Charlottetown, Jean-Gabriel Pageau had two goals and an assist as Gatineau beat P.E.I.
Mathieu Gagnon and Tommy Tremblay also scored for Gatineau (18-8-4).
Philippe Paradis replied for the Rocket (14-12-2).

At Val-d'Or, Que., Artem Sergeev scored in overtime as the Foreurs beat Montreal.
Alexandre Touchette, Jonathan Hazen and Olivier Dallaire also scored for the Foreurs (15-13-2).
David Rose, Charles Landry and Eliezer Sherbatov replied for Montreal (21-4-4).
