The Vancouver Canucks signed defenceman Guillaume Brisebois to one-year, two-way contract on Monday.
Brisebois appeared in three games with the Canucks this past season.
He had five points (two goals and three assists) in 48 games during the regular season with the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks and added three points (two goals and one assist) in 24 playoff games to help the team claim the Calder Cup.
"Guillaume played a big role and was a key contributor with Abbotsford during our Calder Cup winning run," Canucks GM Patrik Allvin said in a release. "His leadership and poise on the ice helped our group a lot during the AHL playoffs, and we are happy to have him back in the fold for another season. Guillaume will add to our organizational depth on the backend."
The 27-year-old from Longueuil, Que., was drafted in the third round, 66th overall, by Vancouver in 2015.
He has three points (one goal and two assists) in 30 career games over five seasons with the Canucks.
