The Pittsburgh Penguins and Vegas Golden Knights will each resume their quest for history when the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs begins Thursday.
The Penguins, who will play the Washington Capitals in the Eastern Conference Second Round, are trying to become the first team to win three straight Stanley Cup championships since the New York Islanders from 1980-83. The Golden Knights, who will play San Jose Sharks in the Western Conference Second Round, are seeking the title in their inaugural season.
