The Toronto Blue Jays announced their September call-ups Friday, with a total of seven players added to the Big League roster.
Outfielders Darrell Ceciliani and Dalton Pompey, RHPs Danny Barnes and Ryan Tepera, and LHP Matt Dermody, were recalled from Buffalo, while catcher Josh Thole joins the team after re-signing as a free agent, and Devon Travis is back from his one-day paperwork stint in Bluefield.
Ceciliani has appeared in 11 games for the Jays this season, hitting .115 with one RBI.
Pompey was similarly called up last September and helped the Jays on their run into the playoffs last year. Pompey could have a similar role off the bench as a pinch-runner this year.
Tepera has appeared in nine games for the Jays with a 2.89 ERA while Barnes has seen action in three games with Toronto with a 4.50 ERA.
Dermody will be making his Big League debut for the Jays. The 26-year-old started the year in Single-A Dunedin and progressed through the Jays farm system all season.
