Toronto Blue Jays' Troy Tulowitzki will be in the lineup Thursday evening as the club completes a four-game set with the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.
The 31-year-old shortstop missed the past two games with a chip fracture in his right thumb. Tulowitzki incurred the injury on Sunday when he was hit by a pitch by Baltimore Orioles hurler Chris Tillman in a 6-2 loss.
In 79 games this season, the native of Santa Clara, California is batting .243 with 18 home runs, 52 runs batted in and an OPS of .774.
The Blue Jays have taken two of three thus far from the Astros and sit a game behind the first-place Orioles in the American League East. The Jays are two games up on both the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox for the first AL wild card.
