The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced on Friday that the team has promoted Orlondo Steinauer to assistant head coach and defensive coordinator.
"Orlondo is an accomplished coach in this league and very deserving of his new expanded role with the team. This is the next step in his career as he continues to progress both personally and within our organization," said vice president of football operations and head coach Kent Austin in a statement.
"We have assembled a quality coaching staff that has a blend of experience, leadership, work ethic and ambition, and we're excited to open training camp this weekend."
The team also announced four additions to the coaching staff, including Mike Markuson as offensive line coach, Chuck Winters as defensive and special teams assistant, Jarryd Baines as offensive quality control, and Matt Tolliver as defensive and special teams quality control.
