MPI has announced that production has wrapped on the upcoming comedy Catfight, from writer-director Onur Tukel. Sandra Oh, Anne Heche and Alicia Silverstone star in the film that follows a bitter rivalry between struggling outsider artist Ashley (Heche) and wealthy housewife Veronica (Oh) that lasts a lifetime. Friends in college, the pair lost touch after, but when they reconnect at a birthday party, verbal sparring turns to violence, locking the two women in a years-long grudge match. Silverstone plays Lisa, the love interest of Ashley.
It's produced by MPI's Greg Newman, along with Gigi Graff. Tukel's previous films include Applesauce, Summer of Blood and Richard's Wedding. Turkel's previous films include Applesauce, and Summer of Blood, both produced with MPI.
