Edmonton Eskimos coaches are a hot commodity this offseason.
According to TSN CFL reporter Farhan Lalji, the BC Lions and Winnipeg Blue Bombers have asked for permission to speak to Eskimos quarterback coach Jarious Jackson.
Edmonton is waiting until the Chris Jones situation with the Saskatchewan Roughriders is figured out before they give permission to speak to Jackson.
Jackson, who expects to be an offensive coordinator next season if the opportunity presents itself, will also wait until Jones makes his decision for 2016.
Jackson's contract will expire at the end of December and has been with the Esks since 2014
The Roughriders are interested in hiring Jones as both a head coach and general manager which would also come with a pay raise.
