The Edmonton Oilers have recalled centre Leon Draisaitl from the AHL's Bakersfield Condors and placed forward Jordan Eberle on long term injured reserve.

Draisaitl, 20, has appeared in six games with the Condors this season, posting one goal and one assist. He recorded two goals and seven assists in 37 games with the Oilers last season.

The Oilers also announced they have assigned winger Tyler Pitlick and defenceman Joey LaLeggia to the Condors.
