The Ottawa Senators have agreed to terms with defenceman Chris Wideman on a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Monday.
The deal will pay Wideman $800K while in the NHL and $400K while he is in the AHL.
Wideman appeared in 75 games last season with the Binghamton Senators of the AHL and scored 19 goals while adding 42 assists.
The St. Louis, Missouri native was selected 100th overall in the fourth round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
