JETS (41-26-12) at BLUES (47-23-7)

TV: TSN3, FS-MW+

Season series: It's the fifth and final game between the Winnipeg Jets and St. Louis Blues. The Blues are 3-0-1 against the Jets, but Winnipeg won the most-recent game 2-1 behind shootout goals from Drew Stafford and Andrew Ladd. Stafford scored in the third period to tie the game after David Backes scored for St. Louis.

Jets team scope: Winnipeg opened a three-game road trip with a 2-0 victory at the Minnesota Wild and moved into the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference, one point ahead of the Los Angeles Kings. The Jets, who got goals from Blake Wheeler and Drew Stafford, are two points behind the Wild for the first wild card. Winnipeg's victory mathematically eliminated the Dallas Stars and San Jose Sharks from Stanley Cup Playoff contention. The Jets are looking for their first win in St. Louis since their move from Atlanta; they are 0-4-0 at Scottrade Center. Defenseman Dustin Byfuglien will serve the third of a four-game suspension. Defenseman Tobias Enstrom has an upper-body injury and is day-to-day.

Blues team scope: St. Louis will look to continue its hold on first place in the Central Division. The Blues (105 points) hold a one-point lead on the Nashville Predators and a three-point lead on the Chicago Blackhawks in the race for the division title. The Blues control their own destiny and can win the division if they win out the remaining three games on their schedule. The Blues have won three straight. Right wing Vladimir Tarasenko skated prior to an optional practice Monday for the first time since sustaining a lower-body injury March 30 against the Vancouver Canucks. Alexander Steen, who has a lower-body injury, skated briefly Monday. Neither player will not be available Tuesday and continue to be day-to-day. Defenseman Robert Bortuzzo, who left a 2-1 victory against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday because of an upper-body injury, will not play Tuesday and is day-to-day.
