HALIFAX - Nikolaj Ehlers extended his point streak to 17 games on Saturday with a goal and an assist as the Halifax Mooseheads downed the visiting Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 3-1 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.

Ehlers, an 18-year-old Winnipeg Jets prospect who represented Denmark at the world junior hockey championships, has produced 17 goals and 45 points during his recent run.

Timo Meier and Maxime Fortier also scored for the Mooseheads (21-18-3), who got a 32-save performance from Eric Brassard.

Yvon Mongo supplied the lone goal for the Armada (24-12-5) as Marc-Antoine Turcotte kicked out 17-of-19 shots.

Halifax went 1 for 7 on the power play while Blainville-Boisbriand failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Raphael Lafontaine had a pair of goals and Evan Fitzpatrick made 36 saves as the Phoenix edged Baie-Comeau.

Kevin Domingue also scored for Sherbrooke (23-15-4).

Jeremy Gregoire and Vaclav Karabacek each had a goal for the Drakkar (22-13-7). Philippe Cadorette stopped 24 shots in defeat.

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Christophe Lalonde had a hat trick and Gabriel Slight scored twice and set up three others as Shawinigan toppled the Tigres.

Dennis Yan and Nicholas Welsh also scored for the Cataractes (23-17-2) and Marvin Cupper made 27 saves for the win.

Mathieu Ayotte had a pair of goals for Victoriaville (21-17-5) while Daniel De Sousa, Antoine Marcoux and Carl Marois added singles. Chase Marchand stopped 31-of-37 shots in the loss.

BATHURST, N.B. — Miguel Sullivan stopped all 22 shots that came his way and Francis Brunelle's goal 5:03 into the first period stood up as the winner as Cape Breton blanked the Titan.

Kyle Farrell, Jacob Smith and Evgeny Svechnikov also scored for the Screaming Eagles (16-21-5).

Reilly Pickard turned away 24-of-28 shots for Acadie-Bathurst (13-27-5).

CHARLOTTETOWN — Joey Richard scored the shootout winner and Nicolas Lachance made 44 saves as Gatineau slipped past the Islanders.

Louick Marcotte, Jonathon Masters and Jonathan Bourcier scored in regulation for the Olympiques (16-24-4).

Kameron Kielly, Filip Chlapik and Ross Johnston supplied the scoring for Charlottetown (20-19-4) as Mason McDonald turned aside 25-of-28 shots.

VAL-D'OR, Que. — Laurent Dauphin scored the shootout winner and Julio Billia made 36 saves as Chicoutimi came from behind to defeat the Foreurs.

Samuel Hodhod, Alexandre Ranger and Sebastien Gauthier scored in regulation for the Sagueneens (18-18-3), who trailed 3-1 after 40 minutes of play.

Anthony Beauregard, Alexis Pepin and Jan Mandat produced a goal apiece for Val-d'Or (18-18-7), which got a 21-save outing from Etienne Monpetit.

Chicoutimi's Landon Schiller was assessed a major and game misconduct for kneeing at 15:27 of the first period.
