ANAHEIM -- Corey Perry recorded his third hat trick of the season and Frederik Andersen made 28 saves to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-0 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Honda Center on Wednesday.

The victory ended Anaheim's (28-10-6) six-game losing streak against Toronto.

The Maple Leafs were shut out for the second consecutive game and haven't scored against a manned net in eight periods.

Perry, who was out because of an injury when the Maple Leafs (22-19-3) beat Anaheim 6-2 earlier this month in Toronto, produced his first multi-goal game since Nov. 29 and fourth of the season. Perry's longtime linemate, center Ryan Getzlaf, assisted on the first two goals by Perry for his first multi-point game of the calendar year.

The Maple Leafs tried to breathe life into their top line by moving Daniel Winnik up to join Phil Kessel and Tyler Bozak, but the three came up empty despite combining for seven shots on goal.

Toronto goalie Jonathan Bernier made 21 saves in the loss. He was 5-0-1 with a 1.65 goals-against average against the Ducks in six previous starts.

The Maple Leafs had allowed 20 shots on goal or fewer in their previous two games and appeared on track to accomplish that feat in three straight for the first time since October 2003, holding the Ducks to one shot through the first nine minutes. But Toronto was called for simultaneous minor penalties at 10:45.

The Ducks couldn't capitalize despite several chances and the final seconds of the two-man advantage were winding down when Kyle Palmieri's shot appeared to hit the back of the net and ricochet back out. Even Bernier stood up in the crease as though he knew the Ducks had scored, but play continued long enough for Anaheim defenseman Hampus Lindholm to send a slap shot past Bernier a few seconds later.

After video review, the goal was awarded to Palmieri officially at 12:41 for the Ducks' fourth power-play goal in the past three games.

Perry scored two more goals in the second period to extend the lead to 3-0. The first came on a wrist shot from the top of the right circle and Perry got some help when the puck nicked off the toe of Toronto defenseman Cody Franson, redirecting it past Bernier to make it 2-0.

Perry then got past Maple Leafs defenseman Dion Phaneuf, Getzlaf hit him with a perfectly-placed stretch pass and Perry finished off a breakaway with a nifty move at 14:33.

Perry completed the hat trick with an empty-net goal at 18:53 of the third period.
