BARRIE, Ont. - Andrew Mangiapane had a hat trick as the Barrie Colts doubled up the Sudbury Wolves 6-3 on Saturday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Joseph Blandisi scored twice and added two assists for Barrie (24-13-2). Kevin Labanc also had a four-point night, with a goal and three assists.

Danny Desrochers, Jeff Corbett and Jonathan Duchesne supplied the offence for the Wolves (7-30-2). It was their ninth-straight loss.

Mackenzie Blackwood got the win in goal for the Colts, making 31 saves. Troy Timpano turned away 30 shots in defeat.

Barrie went 0 for 2 on the man advantage while Sudbury scored once on six chances.

KINGSTON, Ont. — Lucas Venuto had a power-play goal at 3:10 of overtime as Windsor slipped past the Frontenacs.

Markus Soberg scored twice for the Spitfires (17-22-1) in regulation.

Evan McEneny also struck twice for Kingston (15-16-6), including once on the man advantage.

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Matthew Mancina kicked out 26 shots for the shutout as the Petes beat Oshawa.

Hunter Garlent scored his 11th of the season in the first period for Peterborough (15-19-4).

Ken Appleby turned aside 24 shots in net for the No. 1 nationally-ranked Generals (30-6-2).

PLYMOUTH, Mich. — Brandon Halverson turned away all 26 shots he faced as Sault Ste. Marie blanked the Whalers.

Jared McCann led the offence with two goals for the No. 6 Greyhounds (30-9-2) and captain Darnell Nurse also scored in the third period to extend Sault Ste. Marie's win streak to three games.

Alex Nedeljkovic made 33 saves for Plymouth (13-23-3).

SARNIA, Ont. — Davis Brown scored twice in the first period — including once shorthanded — as the Sting defeated Guelph.

Jakob Chychrun, Noah Bushnell and Daniel Nikandrov supplied the rest of the Sarnia (20-15-4) offence.

Jason Dickinson, Tyler Bertuzzi and Luke Cairns found the back of the net for the Storm (22-15-3).

SAGINAW, Mich. — Mark Shoemaker scored his first goal of the season late in the second period and it proved to be the winner as North Bay edged the Spirit.

Ryan Kujawinski and Ray Huether also scored for the Battalion (20-10-7) to give them a 2-0 lead.

Jesse Barwell and Dylan Sadowy erased the deficit with second-period goals for Saginaw (18-19-2).

OWEN SOUND, Ont. — Zach Nastasiuk scored his 21st of the season and added an assist as the Attack downed Belleville.

Erik Bradford and Jaden Lindo started the scoring for Owen Sound (17-11-9). Kyle Platzer added an empty-net goal.

Stephen Harper found the back of the net with his ninth of the season midway through the third period for the Bulls (18-18-4).
