TORONTO - Canadian lightweight Sam (Hands of Stone) Stout has been added to the UFC 185 card.
The 30-year-old from London, Ont, will fight fellow veteran Ross (The Real Deal) Pearson on March 14 in Dallas.
The main event at American Airlines Center features lightweight champion Anthony (Showtime) Pettis against Rafael dos Anjos. In the co-main event, Carla Esparza defends her strawweight title for the first time against Poland's Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
Stout (21-10-1) is coming off a first-round knockout loss to K.J. Noons that evened his UFC record at 9-9.
The 30-year-old Pearson (18-8 with one no contest) was stopped by Al Iaquinta last time out. Winner of Season 9 of "The Ultimate Fighter," the Briton now trains in San Diego.
In other news, the UFC televised card in Newark, N.J., on April 18 will feature a lightweight bout between Jim Miller and Paul Felder and a strawweight battle between Paige VanZant and Felice Herrig.
The main event features middleweight contenders Lyoto (The Dragon) Machida and Luke Rockhold.
