Re: [SurroundSound] Re: making ISO of DVDA

Just in case there are any Linux user here, K3b app (http://www.k3b.org) covers all scenarios I've seen mentioned in this thread, plus many more, and is of course free and OpenSource.

It should theoretically be portable to Windows (as it's an KDE/Qt app) but quick search did not reveal a Windows port. Did not search for a Mac one...

Considering how much "fun" you are having with licensing and stuff not working, you may even consider running K3b in a Linux virtual machine on Windows, and connecting optical drive to it via VM USB pass-trough... which I know from experience to work well.

At the moment, demo version of DVDfab is working better than anything else I have tried so far.  I'm sure the problems I have encountered are probably operator error related, but anyway, that's where I am at. - CP

Folks,

Looking for any links or recommendations on how to make ISO's of DVD-A discs.    Recently bought AnyDVD to use in conjuntion with ImgBurn, but so far not having success, even with a regular DVD movie.   In any case, need to know if I actually need to have AnyDvdHd, or if I'm just having computer issues as opposed to software issues.
For the record, am equally comfortable with Mac or PC, just looking for good results.

Thanks, CP
