Christmas In Connecticut (1945)
REGINA -- Boston Leier and Braden Christoffer each scored twice as the Regina Pats hammered the Moose Jaw Warriors 6-1 in a chippy Western Hockey League game Saturday.
Dyson Stevenson and Dryden Hunt also scored for the Pats (15-12-1), while Nick Schneider made 13 saves in net.
Bryson Gore scored the lone goal for Moose Jaw (8-18-5) nearly three minutes into the game before Regina's offence exploded. Warriors goalie Zachary Sawchenko meanwhile stopped 29 shots.
There was no shortage of penalties handed out, especially during a fight-filled third period. Both teams combined for 35 infractions and 161 minutes in the box.

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. -- Jay Merkley scored twice including the game winner for the Broncos.
Colby Cave and Julius Honka also scored for Swift Current (17-11-3), which rallied after blowing a 3-1 lead.
Conner Bleackley, Rhyse Dieno and Wyatt Johnson replied for Red Deer (13-13-0)
Landon Bow finished with 20 saves for Swift Current, while at the other end of the ice Patrik Bartosak stopped 42 shots.

RAIDERS 5 WHEAT KINGS 4 (OT)
BRANDON, Man. -- Sawyer Lange scored just 18 seconds into overtime to lift Prince Albert past the Wheat Kings.
Chance Braid forced OT with 12 seconds left in the third period for the Raiders (17-9-2). Leon Draisaitl scored twice and Josh Morrissey added a single.
Rihards Bukarts, John Quenneville, Chad Robinson and Tim McGauley scored for Brandon (14-13-2).
Prince Albert goalie Cole Cheveldave made 35 saves, while Brandon's Jordan Papirny stopped 31 shots.

OIL KINGS 5 ICE 1
KOOTENAY, B.C. -- Edmonton scored the first four goals of the game to cruise past the ice.
Brandon Baddock, Edgars Kulda, Aaron Irving, Curtis Lazar and Brett Pollock each scored for the Oil Kings (16-9-1).
Sam Reinhart had the only goal for Kootenay (15-12-2).
Edmonton's Tristan Jarry stopped 23 shots. His counterpart, Kootenay's Mackenzie Skapski made 27 saves.

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. -- Vancouver blew a three-goal lead but rallied to beat the Cougars.
Blake Orban, Cain Franson, Tim Traber, Jackson Houck and Dalton Thrower had a goal apiece for the Giants (12-11-6).
Sam Ruopp, Marc McNulty and Alex Forsberg had goals for Prince Georgs (11-16-4).
Giants goalie Jared Rathjen stopped 31 shots. At the other end of the ice, Ty Edmonds was far busier with 49 saves.

ROCKETS 3 BLAZERS 2 (SO)
KELOWNA, B.C. -- Justin Kirkland scored the shootout winner as the Rockets handed Kamloops its 10th loss in a row.
Ryan Olsen and Carter Rigby scored in regulation for Kelowna (19-3-2), which won its third straight game.
Matt Needham and Tyson Ness scored for the Blazers (6-18-4) and Josh Connolly assisted on both.
Jackson Whistle made 35 saves for the Rockets while Kamloops' Taran Kozun turned away 28 shots in a losing cause.

AMERICANS 2 CHIEFS 1 (SO)
TRI-CITY, Wash. -- Eric Comrie made 26 saves through 65 minutes and five more in the shootout as the Americans slipped by Spokane.
Philip Tot scored the shootout winner for Tri-City (15-12-3), which halted its three-game slide, and Jessey Astley scored at 19:19 of the first period.
Riley Whittingham opened the scoring for the Chiefs (17-9-2) 7:41 into the game.
Spokane's Eric Williams turned away 23-of-24 shots in a losing cause

EVERETT, Wash. -- Matt Pufahl scored twice and Joshua Winquist had three assists as the Silvertips beat Saskatoon for their fifth straight victory.
Ivan Nikolishin, Kohl Bauml and Matt Fonteyne also scored for Everett (20-4-4), who went 5 for 7 on the power play, while Nikolishin tacked on two assists for a three-point night.
Nikita Scherbak scored the lone goal for the Blades (10-16-3).
Austin Lotz made 15 saves for the Silvertips as Saskatoon's Troy Trombley stopped 34-of-39 shots in defeat.

THUNDERBIRDS 6 ROYALS 3
KENT, Wash. -- Roberts Lipsbergs scored twice and had an assist and Branden Troock had a goal and two assists as Seattle snapped Victoria's five-game win streak.
Mathew Barzal, Shea Theodore and Alexander Delnov each produced a goal and an assist for the Thunderbirds (15-9-4), who won their third straight contest.
Mitch Skapski, Logan Fisher and Brandon Fushimi supplied the offence for the Royals (18-11-1).
Seattle's Danny Mumaugh made 27 saves for the win. Victoria's Patrik Polivka allowed five goals on 22 shots before giving way to Coleman Vollrath, who stopped 10-of-11 shots in 23 minutes of relief.
