All I Want for Christmas
The Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings kicks off today, as the road to the Sochi Winter Olympics goes through Winnipeg for the nation's best curlers.
The winning men's and women's rinks after a week of competition will become Team Canada at the Winter Games in February. Don't miss today's broadcast as legendary Anchorman Ron Burgundy joins TSN broadcasters Vic Rauter, Linda Moore, and Russ Howard to call part of the opening draw.
It all begins from the MTS Centre today at 2pm et/11am pt on TSN.
The first draw comes from the women's side with a featured match following Jennifer Jones against Chelsea Carey. The other six entrants on the women's side are Rachel Homan, Stefanie Lawton, Sherry Middaugh, Heather Nedohin, Renée Sonnenberg, and Val Sweeting.
The men take the ice tonight at 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt on TSN2 with the first feature match following Jeff Stoughton vs. Brad Jacobs. The remainder of the men's draw is filled out with Glenn Howard, John Epping, Kevin Koe, Mike McEwen, John Morris, and defending Olympic champion Kevin Martin.
Throughout the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings, fans can visit TSN Digital platforms for daily highlights, updated scores and standings, recaps of each draw, and full coverage of Ron Burgundy's live broadcast appearance on TSN.
Ron Burgundy delivered a message to Canadian curling fans, and another to his new co-anchor Rauter, after the announcement of his Canadian broadcasting debut was made public last week.
