Only on blu ray audio discs (form anyone but Steve Wilson) and the 3D version of the Alien prequel last year.  These are ISO's with no modifications.  Eventually the audio BDs played.  Never could get thru the movie--literally will not play with DVDfab.

This was a folder archive (not ISO). However, creating a main movie archive with different software worked fine. And the original disc plays fine. I'm sure Sony Pictures paid plenty extra for Cinavia infection on this disc. I assume this is the audio infection from Verance. I didn't experience a video infection.

This is interesting because this article is just over a year old, but I am still unaware of any Cinavia issues with Blu ray playback.

 

Personally I have a very cheap UK blu ray player upgraded with the latest Australian firmware, which allows it to be coded to region "0" for DVD and Zones A B or C for Blu Ray.

I have 90+ blu rays from US, UK, Germany and China (including high profile releases such as The Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall and Les Miserables) and have had no problems with playback with any disk.

 

Has anyone ever had any playback issues?
