CALGARY -- The Calgary Stampeders have signed CFL veteran linebacker Joe Lobendahn.

The 29-year-old from Honolulu spent the last four years with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Lobendahn was their starting middle linebacker last year until a season-ending knee injury Sept. 11.

The Stampeders also announced Monday the signing of import offensive lineman Na'Shan Goddard and import running back Bryson Tucker.

In nine games prior to his injury, Lobendahn had 32 tackles, two sacks, three fumble recoveries, a pass knockdown and a forced fumble.

"Joe Lobendahn was one of the league's best linebackers last season until he suffered his knee injury," Stampeders head coach John Hufnagel said in a statement.

"Joe has passed our club physical and we're confident that he is healthy and will be a force at our upcoming training camp."

Goddard played college ball at South Carolina and spent time with the NFL's New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints.

Tucker spent last year with the Indoor Football League's Green Bay Blizzard. He played offence, defence and on special teams during his four seasons of college football at Mary Hardin-Baylor.
