The Winnipeg Jets have traded defenceman Johnny Oduya to the Chicago Blackhawks for second- and third-round picks in 2013.
The Swedish defenceman has appeared in 63 games with the Jets this season, scoring a pair of goals while also setting up another 11.
Oduya was acquired by the Thrashers as part of the Ilya Kovalchuk trade which saw Kovalchuk, Anssi Salmela and a second-round choice move to the New Jersey Devils for Oduya, Niclas Bergfors, Patrice Cormie and a first-round choice in the 2010 Draft.
