Prince is about to give Canada the royal treatment.
The Minneapolis legend is heading north of the border for his first multi-city trek in nearly a decade, promoters have announced.
Prince's Welcome 2 Canada tour will kick off with a two-night stand Nov. 25 and 26 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto before hitting nine other cities from Halifax to Vancouver. Tickets for most shows go on sale Friday Nov. 4 at Ticketmaster and LiveNation.com. Prices weren't immediately released.

Prince's last Canadian tour was in 2002. The flamboyant funk-rocker's hits include When Doves Cry, Purple Rain, Let's Go Crazy and Little Red Corvette.
