{allcanada} Argos players threaten retribution

WINNIPEG -- Several members of the Toronto Argonauts say they won't forget the helmet-to-helmet hit delivered on Steven Jyles in Friday night's 27-22 victory over Winnipeg.

Jyles was injured with 9:03 left in the fourth quarter on a vicious hit from Blue Bombers defensive back Johnny Sears as the Argos quarterback was sliding feet first.

Players started scrapping as Jyles laid on the turf. Sears and Toronto linebacker Jason Pottinger were ejected.

"He had me (knocked) out for a second," Jyles said after the game. "That's what they tell me.

"I'm OK. No headache. No dizziness."

Two injured Argonauts offensive linemen took to Twitter to voice their displeasure with Sears.

"I don't know who the hell this #0 guy is but I hope to hell he's in the league next year.. I'll take the ejection I don't care," Taylor Robertson tweeted.

Rob Murphy also offered his opinion of the hit.

"#0 is lucky I'm not in the Province of Manitoba tonight...They would need the Jaws of Life to pry me off of him... I have a good memory... #CYaNextYear0," Murphy tweeted.

Dalton Bell, who went into the game briefly for Jyles when he took a hard hit during the first quarter, finished the game at quarterback for Toronto and was 2-of-4 for 13 yards.
