Anthony Calvillo said on Tuesday that he is not suffering from post concussion symptoms following a hit he received last Friday against the Edmonton Eskimos.
Calvillo, who confirmed that he was briefly knocked unconscious on the hit by Marcus Howard after a fumble, said on Tuesday that he tested above baseline on a concussion test, and took first-team reps at practice.
If Calvillo's tests remain clean for the remainder of the week and after Wednesday's practice, he should start on Friday in Winnipeg against the Blue Bombers.
In other Alouettes news, both Dwight Anderson (hip) and Shea Emry (concussion) remain out of the line-up for this week's game. Anderson has a small quad tear where the quad meets the hip, and is targeting the Oct. 10 game against Toronto for a possible return.
