Yeah, I'm not quite sure why jolson wrote what he did. The fact of the matter is thet *something* has to do the DTS decoding. That can be either your player or your receiver/preprocessor. And I was just trying to help a fellow poster with an issue he had with getting FooBar to handle his DTS streams, so I psoted what has worked for me. No harm, no foul...

I can´t totally agree to jolson:
it depends on your soundcard and your AVR. If you have a good
soundcard and analog connectors at your AVR than you can connect it in
this way.
