{allcanada} QMJHL: GOULET NETS HAT TRICK TO LEAD TIGRES PAST DRAKKAR

Guillaume Goulet had a hat trick Saturday as the Victoriaville Tigres downed the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 6-2 in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Frederic Tanguay added two of his own for Victoriaville (34-26-4), while Carl-Antoine Delisle chipped in with a goal and two assists.

David Honzik made 28 saves to pick up the win.

Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Moncton 5, Acadie-Bathurst 2; Lewiston 4, P.E.I. 3 (OT); Saint John 8, Cape Breton 0; Gatineau 3, Val-d'Or 2 (SO); and Rouyn-Noranda 5, Montreal 1.

At Baie-Comeau, Que., Maxime Gravel and Lukas Cingel had the goals for the Drakkar (11-43-9).

Jason Missiaen stopped 30 shots in defeat.

Wildcats 5, Titan 2

At Bathurst, N.B., Daniel Pettersson had a goal and an assist as Moncton defeated Acadie-Bathurst.

Ted Stephens, Marek Hrivik, Olivier Daoust and Devon MacAusland also scored for the Wildcats (31-22-10).

Christophe Losier and Jonathan Lessard replied for the Titan (41-21-2).

Maineiacs 4, Rocket 3 (OT)

At Charlottetown, Zachary Shannon scored at 4:51 of overtime as Lewiston got past P.E.I.

Antoine Houde-Caron, with a goal and an assist, Etienne Brodeur and Alex Zafiris scored in regulation for the Maineiacs (38-22-4).

Ben Duffy led the way for the Rocket (29-24-9) with a goal and two assists. Andrej Nestrasil added a goal and an assist, while Olivier Croteau also scored.

Sea Dogs 8, Screaming Eagles 0

At Saint John, N.B., Alexandre Beauregard had a hat trick and Johnathan Huberdeau had a goal and two assists as the Sea Dogs hammered Cape Breton.

Stanislav Galiev and Zack Phillips added a goal and an assist each for Saint John (53-6-3), while Simon Despres and Tomas Jurco also scored. Mathieu Corbeil-Theriault made 18 saves for the shutout.

Alexandre Veronneau stopped 39 shots in defeat for the Screaming Eagles (17-42-5).

Olympiques 3, Foreurs 2 (SO)

At Val-d'Or, Que., Igor Levitsky and Philip-Michael Devos scored in the shootout as Gatineau outlasted the Foreurs.

Devos added a goal in regulation for the Olympiques (39-17-8), while Philippe Halley scored and had an assist.

Jonathan Hazen and Nicolas Larocque-Marcoux replied for Val-d'Or (22-32-8).

Huskies 5, Juniors 1

At Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Robin Gusse made 37 saves as the Huskies bested Montreal.

Gabriel O'Connor scored twice for Rouyn-Noranda (10-47-6), while Alexandre Comtois and Jeremi Janneteau each added a goal and an assist. Jessyko Bernard also scored.

Xavier Ouellet had the only goal for the Juniors (43-11-8).
