The Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with free agent left-winger Hunter Tremblay on a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Thursday.
Tremblay, 25, finished his fourth year with the University of New Brunswick, appearing in 27 games collecting a team best 44 points (22G, 22A).
Tremblay was named the 2010 CIS Player of the Year when he collected 25 goals and 32 assists in 27 games. He was the only player in the country to average over two points per game (2.11). He also led the CIS with eight game-winning goals, five short-handed goals on the way to leading his team to a 27-1-0 record.
