The Alberta skip improved to 2-0 with an 8-6 victory Sunday over New Brunswick's James Grattan.
Martin has won 28 straight games at the event.
Manitoba's Jeff Stoughton sits atop the standings after winning a third straight game, 8-3 over Nova Scotia's Shawn Adams.
Quebec's Francois Gagne improved to 2-0 with a 10-3 victory over Prince Edward Island's Eddie MacKenzie.
Northern Ontario's Brad Jacobs defeated Jamie Koe of Northwest Territories/Yukon 11-8 to improve to 1-1.
