{allcanada} CANADIANS TOUTANT, MCMORRIS PUSHING EACH OTHER TOWARDS PODIUM

While he may not be a household name, Canadian Sebastien Toutant is already regarded as one of the top snowboarders in the world.

The Montreal native is currently first in the FIS snowboard freestyle overall standings and he's drawn the attention of one of the world's best and most recognizable athletes, Shaun White.

"Sebastian is amazing," said White. "He's really pushing the level of riding, it's impressive."

"It's fun when different snowboarders like Shawn White says something about me, that I'm a good snowboarder," stated Toutant. "Hopefully I can have good runs to put it down and make the podium here."

Pushing the boundaries built by stars like Shaun White in previous years, the 18-year-old freestyle star is adding new tricks every chance he gets along with fellow Canadian Mark McMorris.

"Back in the day, the late twenties guys didn't have people ahead of them doing double corks or 1080's," explained McMorris. "We come into snowboarding and we have something to work towards. Now where we're at we're pushing the sport, doing new tricks nobody has done."

Besides both being Canadian snowboarders, Toutant and Morris are also best friends, who pride themselves on pushing each other to make the podium.

As rising freestyle stars, both men are helping to evolve the sport and in doing so they are building a name for themselves.

"He's a really good rider and it's fun to push myself with him," said McMorris. "Sometimes I won't really think of doing something and then he'll do it and I realize I have to do it too and vice versa."
