Torpedoes" Deluxe Edition on Blu-ray
I fully understand if someone that has for example a player that only
handles SACD/DVD-A prefers to spend his or her money on supporting releases
in those formats. So there's clearly a dilema, stick to the grace period or
help out the brothers and sisters with limited format compatibility in their
gears.
Even though it was conceived for movies, blu-ray is actually a fantastic
surround format and has a great mass market potential. Its disadvantages are
more in terms of the need to invest, among consumers as well as studios and
record companies.
