It took months, but the Baie-Comeau Drakkar finally won again.

Lukas Cingel scored on the power play with 17 seconds left in the game to lead Baie-Comeau past the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 4-3 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Friday night.

It was just the second win of the season for the Drakkar, snapping a 25-game winless streak.

Baie-Comeau last won on Sept. 12, a 3-1 win over the Shawinigan Cataractes, on just the third day of the QMJHL season. Since then, the Drakkar have lost 19 games in regulation time, three in overtime and three in the shootout.

Only three other teams have gone that long without a win in QMJHL history: the 1990-91 Victoriaville Tigres (28 games), the 1975-76 Shawinigan Dynamos (27) and the Dynamos again in 1977-78 (25).

Surprisingly, Baie-Comeau has only the second worst record in the Canadian Hockey League. The Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League have earned only nine points in 23 games.

Rouyn-Noranda has also struggled this season, matching the Drakkar's 10 points.

Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Saint John 6 Acadie-Bathurst 3; Cape Breton 4 Halifax 2; Quebec 4 Chicoutimi 3; Lewiston 3 Moncton 2 (SO); Drummondville 5 Victoriaville 3; Gatineau 5 P.E.I. 3 and Montreal 4 Shawinigan 3.

At Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Pierre-Alexandre Ouellet, Samuel Noreau and Alexandre Durette provided the other goals for the Drakkar (2-20-6).

Jonathan Bonneau scored twice, including shorthanded, for the Huskies (4-22-2). Alexandre Beauregard also tallied while killing a penalty for Rouyn-Noranda.

---

Sea Dogs 6 Titan 3

At Saint John, N.B., Zack Phillips had back-to-back goals, including the power-play winner, as the Sea Dogs dismantled Acadie-Bathurst.

Danick Gauthier had a goal and an assist for Saint John (20-3-2), while Nathan Beaulieu and Tomas Jurco also scored. Stephen MacAulay added a short-handed insurance marker with 1:08 left to play.

Daniel Tanel, Christophe Losier and Vincent Arseneau replied for the Titan (17-10-0).

---

Screaming Eagles 4 Mooseheads 2

At Sydney, N.S., Logan Shaw and Viktor Hertzberg both scored and added two assists as Cape Breton dropped Halifax.

Morgan Ellis and Olivier Jodoin had power-play goals 10 seconds apart for the Screaming Eagles (9-17-2).

Carl Gelinas had his 14th of the season for the Mooseheads (9-17-1), while Charles Bety also tallied.

---

Remparts 4 Sagueneens 3

At Quebec City, Jonathan Audy-Marchessault put away the power-play winner at the 12:43 mark of the third period as the Remparts edged Chicoutimi.

Tomas Filippi and Mirko Hoefflin tallied in quick succession for Quebec (21-5-2), while Ryan Culkin also found the back of the net.

Guillaume Asselin had a goal and set up the other two for the Sagueeens (9-15-5). Nicolas Therrien and Alexandre Lavoie rounded out the attack.

---

Maineiacs 3 Wildcats 2 (SO)

At Lewiston, Maine, Kirill Kabanov and Samuel Carrier scored in the shootout as the Maineiacs squeaked by Moncton.

Michael Chaput and Francis Beauvillier tallied in regulation time Lewiston (20-8-2).

Allain Saulnier had both of the goals for the Wildcats (16-9-3). His twin brother and linemate Alex assisted on each marker.

---

Voltigeurs 5 Tigres 3

At Drummondville, Que., Ondrej Palat had a hat trick and added an assist to lift the Voltigeurs over Victoriaville.

Olivier Vachon and Julien Tremblay had the other goals for Drummondville (18-8-3), while Jonathan Brunelle had three assists. Palat's second of the night stood as the winner.

Philip-Michael Devos led the Tigres (13-13-2) with a marker and an assist, while Brandon Hynes and Yannick Dube chipped in as well.

--- Olympiques 5 Rocket 3

At Gatineau, Que., Mitchell Porowski's second-period goal stood as the winner as his Olympiques prevailed over P.E.I.

Scott Sandercock and Raphael Lafontaine had their first goals of the season for Gatineau (16-8-4), while Philippe Halley had his 11th. Jean Gabriel Pageau had an empty-net goal for some insurance.

Samuel Morneau and Michael Ortika's goals in the second period brought the Rocket (14-10-2) within two. Ben Duffy scored in the first.

---

Juniors 4 Cataractes 3

At Shawinigan, Que., Charles Landry's goal with 3:30 left in regulation time put the game away as Montreal eked out a win against the Cataractes.

Philippe Fontaine, Dylan Anderson and Philippe Lefebvre supplied the rest of the offence for the Juniors (19-4-3).

Benjamin Casavant, Gabriel Lemieux and Yannick Veilleux were the scorers for Shawinigan (15-7-3).
