[SurroundSound] DTS-WAV to new AppleTV

I have a large collection of DTS-WAV (actually Apple Lossless, but DTS CD rips nonetheless) that I have been playing through an AppleTV(v1).

The new AppleTV(v2) resamples everything to 48Khz, so there is no bit perfect passthrough of this format to the decoder.

So, I'm looking for alternative ways to encode my surround music that will be compatible with the new AppleTV(v2). So far the only thing I've come up with is encoding each track as a "Music Video" movie with both AAC and AC3 soundtracks. Of course there is significant loss of quality going to AC3 for the audio so this is not a great solution.

Is there a 48Khz DTS-WAV like format that would be recognized by DTS decoders (and how would you encode to it as SureCode CD Pro DTS only works with 44.1Khz)?
