{allcanada} ARCA Fans Can Join Marks for "Laps That Matter"

Draculas Brides Trio Bust

Following his 13th top-10 finish of 2010 last night at Kansas Speedway, Justin Marks is ready to run up front again - and make a difference - in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards season finale at Rockingham Speedway next Saturday.

Marks, Win-Tron Racing, and sponsor Construct Corps are teaming up at the American 200 presented by Black's Tire and Auto Service for "Laps That Matter,"  a unique charity event that will bring together one of the top organizations in the series and The V Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to cancer research. The team began gathering donations at Kansas Speedway and will conclude collections on the morning of the October 9 American 200.

Any monetary amount of 25 cents or more can be pledged for each lap Marks completes in the 200-lap event, or contributors may choose to donate one lump sum. Those who donate 25 cents per lap, for example, will contribute $50 if Marks completes all 200 laps. The final contribution to The V Foundation will be calculated following the American 200.

Teams, drivers, sponsors, fans, and anyone affiliated with the ARCA Racing Series are invited to join Win-Tron Racing in support of The V Foundation and the ongoing fight to find a cure for cancer. Founded in 1993 by ESPN and former award-winning broadcaster and North Carolina State University basketball coach Jim Valvano, The V Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for the devastating disease that claimed the life of its founder. The V Foundation has an excellent reputation within the scientific community, with 100% of all new direct cash donations and net proceeds from events like "Laps That Matter" going to cancer research and related programs.

To request a donation form or to find more information, contact Kirby Johnson of Win-Tron Racing at Kirby@win-tronracing.com or 608-289-8919. Pledge forms must be completed and returned by October 8. All donations are tax-deductible and receipts will be issued following the event.
