Rogers Sportsnet and Rogers Sportsnet ONE are the home to 35 Toronto Raptors games for the 2010-2011 season starting with the Sacramento Kings on Monday, November 1 at 10 p.m. (ET) on Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet ONE HD.
Sportsnet ONE, a new 24-hour national sports channel that launched on August 14th, will broadcast 23 games while Rogers Sportsnet will carry 12. All games will be in high definition.
In addition, the Sportsnet group of channels will broadcast at least 35 other regular-season NBA games involving U.S. teams, plus 22 playoff games. The schedules for these games will be announced at a later date.
"We are excited about the return of the Raptors and the NBA to Sportsnet," said Doug Beeforth, President, Rogers Sportsnet. "The Raptors will be a flagship property for Rogers Sportsnet ONE, as will the many other NBA games we will offer Canadian basketball fans."
Rogers Sportsnet and Sportsnet ONE will offer several key match-ups with the Raptors including:
London calling – Raptors face the New Jersey Nets in the first ever regular-season game played in Europe at the 02 arena in London, England on Friday, March 4 at 3 p.m. (ET)
Celtics in the house – Raptors host the Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics in a matinee match-up on Sunday, November 21 at 1 p.m. (ET)
John Wall debut – 2010 NBA first-overall pick John Wall makes his first appearance at the ACC with the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, December 1 at 7 p.m. (ET)
Dallas x2 – Raps host Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks twice this year on Tuesday, December 28 at 8:30 p.m. (ET) and Sunday, February 22 at 6 p.m. (ET)
Bosh returns to ACC – Chris Bosh meets his former team at the Air Canada Centre to close out the regular season on Wednesday, April 13 at 8 p.m. (ET)
