despite my deleting numerous files yesterday. I set the "new plan" to
the cheapest option and RS explains it takes a day to reset the
account. If my account does not reset it will be gone by the weekend.
As I look for other providers, these seem very popular on sites I
frequently visit:
filefactory.com
storage.to
netload.in
netfolder.in
sharingmatrix.com
hotfile.com
megaupload.com
Many are friendly with Jdownloader as well. Most of these sites also
allow larger file sizes greater than 100 MB. I'm not sure I want to
pay for any of them because RS is so dominant right now. Some of these
sites make it sound like you can earn money by using them. That's
probably too good to be true.
I have a free account with MediaFire.com. That's where I started. It's
free, it's fast, and people still use it too. If you upgrade your
account from free to paid, they give you a tool that will let you
transfer files from anywhere on the internet to your MediaFire
account. It's also Jdownloader friendly. For now, I'm considering this
-- in an attempt to keep my RS files from fading away. But if this
tool is based on my bandwidth, it's asta la vista, baby.
So? We just start again with better technology. It was a fun run for
awhile.
I was hoping to keep RS running 'til the end of the month. But the way
it's looking, this may be my final week.
Change, in this case, is good for us because a better fit for all of
us is right around the corner. Just wait and see. Hopefully, we won't
have to wait too long.
See you on the hub.
P.S. I have a bunch of new stuff coming later this month.
