Winnipeg Jets head coach Scott Arniel says defenceman Dylan Samberg will miss six to eight weeks due to a broken wrist.
Samberg, 26, appeared to suffer the injury in the second period of Saturday's game against the Calgary Flames.
The Saginaw, Mich., native scored six goals and added 14 assists in 60 games last season.
He was originally selected 43rd overall by the Jets in the 2017 NHL Draft and has registered nine goals and 51 points in 216 NHL games.
Hellebuyck Leaves Practice
Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck left the ice Monday as he was 'not feeling right', Arniel said. The head coach is unsure whether or not the reigning Vezina and Hart Trophy winner will play tomorrow's game against the Minnesota Wild.
Hellebuyck left the ice prior to the start of the main skate and skated off after squaring up for a shot. He has not appeared in any of the Jets' four preseason games.
