The Edmonton Oilers have made a change to their front office.

Edmonton and assistant general manager Brad Holland mutually agreed to part ways, Oilers CEO and president of hockey operations Jeff Jackson announced on Tuesday.

"We thank Brad for his work during his time with the Oilers organization and we wish him well in his future endeavours," said Jackson in a team-released statement.

The team said the move would enable Holland "to pursue other opportunities."

Holland joined the Oilers organization as a scout in 2019 and was promoted to assistant GM and director of professional scouting before the 2022-23 season. He started his NHL career with the Toronto Maple Leafs as a team manager in 2015.

Holland is the son of former Oilers general manager Ken Holland.

The Oilers did not extend Ken Holland's contract at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season. Edmonton hired Stan Bowman in July to replace Holland as its general manager.
