SHERBROOKE, Que. — Luke Woodworth sealed it in the shootout as the Drummondville Voltigeurs edged the Sherbrooke Phoenix 3-2 on Friday.
Sam Oliver scored the first goal in the shootout for the Voltigeurs (8-7-0). In regulation, Tyler Peddle and Charles-Antoine Dumont scored one apiece for Drummondville while Jacob Goobie made 36 saves before making two more in the shootout.
Ethan Gauthier scored two goals for Sherbrooke (13-1-1-1). Jakob Robillard stopped 27-of-29 shots in the loss.
The Voltigeurs went up 2-0 early in the third period before Gauthier pulled the Phoenix into a tie game to send it to overtime. Sherbrooke missed both opportunities in the shootout.

GATINEAU, QUE. — Cole Cormier scored the game-winner in overtime to cap Gatineau's comeback victory over Rouyn-Noranda (10-6-1). The Olympiques (9-5-2) were down 3-0 almost midway through the second period before storming back into the game.

SYDNEY, N.S. — Cam Squires recorded a goal and an assist as Cape Breton (2-8-2) held off Halifax (9-2-2-1) for the win. The Eagles turned a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 lead, and after a Mathieu Cataford goal cut into their lead, Olivier Houde responded with an empty-netter to seal it.

MONCTON, N.B. — Charles-Thomas Larochelle scored what proved to be the winner as Baie-Comeau (8-8-0-1) defeated Moncton (8-5-0-1). Down 2-1 early in the second, the Drakkar scored three unanswered to make it 4-2 before Etienne Morin netted one in the third for the Wildcats.

BATHURST, N.B. — Riley Kidney notched two goals, including an empty-netter to seal it as Acadie-Bathurst (5-9-1-1) topped Blainville-Boisbriand (7-7-0-1). Ben Allison, Nolan Forster and Philippe Collette also scored for the Titan which held off an Armada comeback effort.
