Paul Stastny is expected to return from NHL COVID-19 protocol and play at the Nashville Predators (8 p.m. ET; BSSO, TSN3, ESPN+, NHL LIVE).
The forward was at right wing on a line with Andrew Copp and Mark Scheifele during the morning skate after missing three games. He's scored 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) in 24 games.
Coach Dave Lowry said defenseman Brenden Dillon (COVID-19 protocol) is expected to skate with the Jets in Boston on Saturday and goalie Eric Comrie (protocol) could be back on the ice in the next couple of days.
Nikolaj Ehlers will miss at least the next three games because of a lower-body injury sustained when the forward was kneed by Washington Capitals defenseman Dmitry Orlov in a 4-3 overtime loss Tuesday. Orlov was suspended two games by the NHL Department of Player Safety on Wednesday,
Forward Blake Wheeler, who hasn't played since Dec. 10 because of a knee injury, is nearing a return but is out Thursday.
