HALIFAX — Robert Orr scored two goals, including the winner midway through the third period, to lead the Halifax Mooseheads to a 6-4 win over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Thursday night at Scotiabank Centre.
Elliot Desnoyers iced the victory with an empty-net goal. Zachary L'Heureux, Zachary Beauregard and Senna Peeters had the other goals for Halifax (8-5-0-1).
Bennett MacArthur scored twice for the Titan (7-7-0-2). Riley Kidney and Jaxon Bellamy added singles.
Brady James made 34 saves for Halifax. Jan Bednar stopped 38 shots for Acadie-Bathurst.
In other Quebec Major Junior Hockey League games, the Victoriaville Tigres defeated the Gatineau Olympiques 6-3 and the Sherbrooke Phoenix beat the Val-d'Or Foreurs 5-1.
