NEW YORK -- Edmonton Oilers forward Kailer Yamamoto has been fined $3,854.17, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for a dangerous trip against Calgary Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson during NHL Game No. 383 in Edmonton on Saturday, March 6, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 14:12 of the first period. Yamamoto was assessed a minor penalty for tripping.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
