Tim Stutzle will not play for the Senators against the Winnipeg Jets at Canadian Tire Centre on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET; TVAS, TSN5, TSN3, NHL.TV) because of an undisclosed injury.
The 19-year-old forward is day to day.
"Just a little nagging, minor injury that will be more of a day-to-day situation and we're just being more cautious than anything," coach D.J. Smith said. "We expect him back full shortly."
Stutzle, the No. 3 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, scored his first NHL goal in Ottawa's 3-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena on Jan. 16.
