TORONTO -- Frederik Andersen sustained an upper-body injury for the Toronto Maple Leafs against the Florida Panthers at Scotiabank Arena on Monday.
Andersen was run into by Frank Vatrano after the Panthers forward was pushed by Jake Muzzin on a 2-on-1 with 1:36 remaining in the first period.
Andersen, who allowed one goal on eight shots, was slow to get up but was able to finish the period before being replaced at the start of the second by Michael Hutchinson.
Andersen is second in the NHL in wins with 24, trailing only Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Tampa Bay Lightning (26).
