Cam Talbot signed a one-year, $2.75 million contract with the Calgary Flames on Monday.
The 31-year-old goalie was 11-17-3 with a 3.40 goals-against average, .892 save percentage and one shutout in 35 games (32 starts) with the Philadelphia Flyers and Edmonton Oilers last season. He was 1-2-0 with a 3.70 GAA and an .881 save percentage in four games with Philadelphia after he was acquired in a trade for goalie Anthony Stolarz on Feb. 16.
Signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Rangers on April 30, 2010, Talbot is 138-112-24 with a 2.60 GAA, .915 save percentage and 20 shutouts in 288 games (278 starts) with the Flyers, Oilers and Rangers. He is 7-7 with a 2.48 GAA, .922 save percentage and two shutouts in 15 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
