The Montreal Canadiens have signed winger Riley Barber to a one-year, two-way deal, the team announced Monday.
The contract will pay Barber $700,000 at the NHL level and $300,000 in the AHL, with a guaranteed salary of $400,000.
The 25-year-old has spent the last four seasons with the AHL's Hershey Bears, an affiliate of the Washington Capitals. Riley recorded 90 goals and 180 points in 237 regular-season games for the Bears.
