QUEBEC — Vincent Senez scored the shootout winner and Antoine Coulombe turned aside 21 shots in regulation as the Shawinigan Cataractes topped the Quebec Remparts 3-2 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Saturday.
Jan Drozg and Gabriel Belley-Pelletier found the back of the net for the Cataractes (9-23-3) in regulation.
Andrew Coxhead and Dylan Schives replied for the Remparts (15-13-8).
Mavrik Bourque also scored in the shootout for Shawinigan. Quebec's Aleksei Sergeev was the lone Rempart to get a goal in the shootout.
Carmine-Anthony Pagliarulo turned away 24 shots in a losing effort for Quebec.
The Remparts went 1-for-7 on the power play. The Cataractes were scoreless in three chances with the man advantage.

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Ivan Chekhovich struck the game-winning goal and set up another as Baie-Comeau doubled up Rimouski.
Jordan Martel, Thomas Ethier and Yaroslav Alexeyev rounded out the scoring for the Drakkar (24-9-3), who lead the Eastern Conference. Nathan Ouellet and Carson MacKinnon answered for the Oceanic (21-12-3).
Dereck Baribeau turned away 22 shots for Baie-Comeau. Colten Ellis blocked 24 shots for Rimouski.

CHICOUTIMI, Que. — Samuel Houde had a goal and three assists as Chicoutimi thrashed Drummondville for its third straight win.
Jeremy Diotte and Hendrix Lapierre paced the Saguenees (17-13-7) with two goals apiece, while Artemi Kniazev and Justin Ducharme added singles. Gregory Kreutzer scored the lone goal for the Voltigeurs (26-8-1).
Alexis Shank turned aside 21 shots for Chicoutimi. Olivier Rodrigue combined with Anthony Morrone for 24 saves for Drummondville.

CHARLOTTETOWN — Daniel Hardie scored twice and added two assists as Charlottetown thumped Acadie-Bathurst for a second consecutive win.
Nikita Alexandrov, Jordan Maher, Liam Peyton and Kevin Gursoy also got on the scoresheet for the Islanders (16-18-2). Yan-Cedric Gaudreault and Mathieu Desgagnes answered for the Titan (18-10-7).
