SASKATOON — Peyton Krebs scored once and set up two more as the Kootenay Ice downed the Saskatoon Blades 4-2 on Thursday in Western Hockey League action.

Nick Bowman, Brad Ginnel and Jaeger White also scored for the Ice (5-7-3), who trailed 2-1 heading into the third period.

The Blades' (9-5-2) offence came from Kristian Roykas Marthinsen and Gary Haden.

Duncan McGovern made 32 saves for the win as Nolan Maier stopped 27-of-31 shots in defeat.

Kootenay went 0 for 2 on the power play while Saskatoon failed to score on its only chance with the man advantage.
