Brendan Lemieux will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety. The date is to be determined.

The Winnipeg Jets forward is facing discipline for an illegal check to the head on Florida Panthers forward Vincent Trocheck on Friday.

The incident occurred at 14:37 of the second period of Florida's 4-2 win at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland. Lemieux was given a match penalty. Trocheck was not injured.

The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: illegal check to the head. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
